Social Media Marketing Small Business Lunch and Learn

The Chamber is now accepting registrations for the Social Media Marketing Small Business Lunch and Learn featuring Guest Speaker, Steve Holt.  The event will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the Lannom Center, lunch will be provided. 

This event is FREE for Chamber members and $10 for non-members!  Enjoy networking and lunch with your business neighbors while gaining valuable knowledge on various platforms of social media and how to use it to your business advantage!

2014 Membership Matters Luncheon

lemon publicityThe Dyersburg/Dyer County Chamber of Commerce will host the Annual Membership Matters Luncheon on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at The Lannom Center.  The program will include Keynote Speaker and Magician, Brian Staron, along with an update on the Chamber’s activities and achievements since the beginning of 2014.

Brian has been a full time performer for over 30 years.  His blend of amazing magic and stand-up comedy has been described as “live situation comedy” and “organized chaos.”  This high energy slap-stick show is basically “Vaudeville for the 21st Century”.   Filled with fast flying one liners, lots of sight gags and audience  participation, this is  entertainment at its best!

First Citizens Merges with Southern Heritage

     First Citizens Bancshares, Inc. and Southern Heritage Bancshares, Inc. jointly announced today the execution of a definitive Agreement and Plan of Merger whereby Southern Heritage will partner with First Citizens through a cash and stock merger.  Following the completion of the transaction, Southern Heritage will retain its name and will remain a separately-chartered bank, operating as a subsidiary of First Citizens Bancshares, Inc.
